Sandi Katz is a Jewish glass artist whose work is known across the United States. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Sandi now lives in Boca Raton, Florida. Her art is inspired by traditions passed on to her by her mother and it keeps her mother close in her heart.
Each mezuzah case is unique, made by hand, and kiln-fired. It takes about 12 hours from the inception of a piece until the firing process is complete. Sandi enjoys being able to combine function, beauty, and the warmth of tradition and delights in the infinite array of design possibilities available within this art form. Each piece is lovingly made with the hope that it brings you the same joy that Sandi has in creating it.
